This short film by Glyn Strong, tells the story of a young rape victim in Kabul who, against all odds, found happiness.

It is unheard of for rape victims to marry in Afghanistan, where victims are twice violated - first by their attackers, then again by the society that ostracises them. It sends a message of hope and celebrates the courage of an enlightened and good hearted man - and the woman who inspired him. The wedding was made possible by activist and suspended MP Malalai Joya.
